After he manages to flee from the jail in Dehradun, Harrer escapes and finds himself in the uncharted territories of Greater Tibet and he enters Lhasa, the forbidden city, where foreigners weren’t allowed.What follows is an epic and life changing moment as Harrer meets the Dalai Lama and gets an outsider’s perspective on this remote nation and on leading a life in an unknown land.
