The corporate life can sometimes get the better of you, and trying to break the everyday routine and actually finding time for oneself can be tough task. But leave it to Rightstay to add a little sunshine to that much awaited weekend after a hectic week at work! So when Swati Babbar, a Senior Relationship Manager decided to do something different over the weekend for a change and took off to the mountains of Naukuchiatal, a small hill station in Nainital district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. She packed her bags earnestly, and along for the ride came her family and relatives. She packed her bags earnestly, and along for the ride came her family and relatives. It was a group of 7 females (including 1 elderly lady), 3 kids, and one male member. What a bunch!
Her adventure started pretty hassle-free, all thanks to Rightstay, where she stayed at the Déjà vu. She also wanted to make a special mention to Saurabh, who she said amazed her as he was patient enough to handle all of her questions regarding travelling as a group of women. “The response to everything was quick and all was well taken care of and also the property described was clear and to the point,” remarks Ms. Babbar. Because when you use Rightstay, you can be assured that there would be no hidden information kept from the guest, whatsoever.
Ms. Babbar recalls one of her favorite memories from her trip, to be all the evenings spent in the balcony, which overlooked the scenic lake. A breath-taking view was made calmer, when the sound of music and chit-chat was accompanied by the serving of hot, delicious snacks made by their cook, Govind Ji. “We did everything that we could from getting our favorite food cooked at any point in time, to the adventure activities,” raves Ms. Babbar. These activities included paragliding (arranged by the people of their homestay, Déjà vu), which Ms.Babbar recalls as being an amazing experience. The marvelous weather added to the enjoyment, in the midst of the beauty of the place. Ms. Babbar also recalls taking a stroll on the scenic mall road of Nainital, where she got to see the dusk settling besides the lake. “I am also very particular about the cleanliness but I wasn’t disappointed there too. The villa had clean rooms and it was done on a daily basis,” she adds.
When asked about the highlight of her trip? “The food of Déjà vu,” she answers. “The best part was that everything tasted homemade and was made to order. We all are lazy bones and love sleeping till late on a holiday so we usually miss out on our breakfast in the hotels, but here it was different. With people from all age groups there were different demands and we had it all. The cook (Govind ji) did not say no to anything,” Ms. Babbar stated happily. The delicious food was accompanied by the sweetness of the caretaker/cleaner and the cook of Déjà vu. “They ensured that everything goes smooth during our stay.”
An adventure cannot be called rightly so, without an anecdote to share for our readers! This was Ms. Babbar’s:
“One day we really got late while returning from sightseeing point and were worried about Nani however upon arrival we saw her chilling in the living area watching TV and enjoying her dinner. She also told us that care taker’s wife took complete care of her.”
Lastly, we asked Ms. Babbar if her experience using Rightstay was one to pass onto her friends. “Yes, it’s a great concept! I just loved the unusual stay options they have for travelers to choose from. I believe there are a lot of travelers like us looking for accommodation away from the crowded areas, where they can spend quality time with their family and friends. Overall, a great customer service and value for money!”
